When tears reach my cheek
And death all around me
The fear of failing and negativity drown me
I was born a winner
My mom prepared me for this
Dad took over In gave me this
A strong way to communicate, a firm handshake and a smile
Look me in the eyes and don't you frown
Hold ya up when you feeling a little low
Dad's Word in No Particular Order-
Do something good
When your energy get's low
Never be gullable
There's predators in the world
matter fact there at your school
Don't wear that lipstick girl
Although i didnt grasp it all
I got these few things
Daddy didnt raise no PUNKS and Dam sho No DUMMIES
Might didnt get the memo
But he did what he knew best
And i love him
Cause at times he didn't even rest
I knew he knew i got it
Cause he'd say it over and over again
Still i ran like a child and blew in the wind!!
No matter what people say
And i heard it all
My dad is my world
And he's done it all
No words could express the utmost gratitiude i carry

When i had no one to talk to
No one understood
Couldnt Comprehend the pain i went through
How i love the freedom it gives me
The joy it sings to me
